I will enumerate the top article directories that I personally use in submitting my articles and in increasing my search engine ranking.

1. Ezine Articles http://ezinearticles.com/ This is probably one of the most popular and most favorable article directory of big search engines. Almost all of my articles are located here. But your articles are review manually and it take almost one week. But If you want faster approval. Submit 15-20 articles and make sure its original and If Ezine Articles will promote your account in either basic premium or platinum, this type of account have faster approval than basic accounts.

2. GoArticles http://www.goarticles.com/ This is my second best favorite article directory. Unlike ezinearticles. This site will review your article very fast. But you are not allowed to use commercial email provider like gmail, yahoo, aol, live, hotmail and etc. You must have your own email client. They only support email with this kind of extension: yourname@yourdomain.com.

3. Article Dashboard: http://www.articledashboard.com/ This article directory is great too. Its interface is similar to ezinarticles too. And the issue that you will encounter is the review process. I think they take one week also to review your articles. They have wide variety of topic. So you can really choose the right category of your articles.

4. Associated Content: http://www.associatedcontent.com/ I think this one of my favorite also. Do you know why? Because you can EARN money in this article directory. But too bad you will only earn money If you are on the USA. Associated Content will give you certain topic and then write the article and submit to them. Presto! If your article pass their guideline you are on your way on earning money via article submission. I am not really sure how much money they pay for their publisher. the best way is to check it out yourself.

5. Article Base http://www.articlesbase.com/ This is my last favorite. The reason why I include this on the list its because I always see some of its articles in SERP (search engine results page) And I believe that most authors here are really expert in their field.

Tips and Trick in Article Submission.

• Be sure to include your primary keyword in your title and in the article body.
• Check the grammar and spelling error first before submitting your article.
• Write atleast 300-500 word in your article.
• Don’t put affiliate link on your author resource box because some directory will not allowed you to do this specially ezinearticles.com
• Be sure that you originally wrote the article that you are planning to submit. Article directories are very strict about this. They might disable your account and they will not restore it until you explain to them the whole thing
• Wrote bulk articles and submit it 2 or 3 at a time. You must do this so that your account will be promoted easily and it means faster approval.
• Maximize your author resources box and include your anchor text links.
