Affiliate Marketing is one the most easy and popular ways of making money on the internet. This business does not require you to have your own website or worry how to build one (although owning a blog or a site is an advatanges). If you are new or just getting started this article might be helpful to you.
I will provide here the steps that every affiliate marketers are doing.
What Does Affiliate Marketing Means?
Lets consult wikipedia.com
Affiliate Marketing is an Internet-based marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate’s marketing efforts. It is an application of crowdsourcing. Examples include rewards sites, where users are rewarded with cash or gifts, for the completion of an offer, and the referral of others to the site.
The Affiliate Marketing industry has four core players at its heart: the Merchant (also known informally as ‘Retailer’ or ‘Brand’), the Network, the Publisher (also known informally as ‘the Affiliate’) and the Customer. The market has grown sufficiently in complexity to warrant a secondary tier of players, including Affiliate Management Agencies, Super-Affiliates and Specialized Third Parties vendors.
Affiliate marketing overlaps with other Internet marketing methods to some degree, because affiliates often use regular advertising methods. Those methods include organic search engine optimization, paid search engine marketing, e-mail marketing, and in some sense display advertising. On the other hand, affiliates sometimes use less orthodox techniques, such as publishing reviews of products or services offered by a partner.
Affiliate marketing—using one website to drive traffic to another—is a form of online marketing, which is frequently overlooked by advertisers. While search engines, e-mail, and website syndication capture much of the attention of online retailers, affiliate marketing carries a much lower profile. Still, affiliates continue to play a significant role in e-retailers’ marketing strategies.

Below are the steps you must do in order to succeed in Affiliate Marketing.
1. Choose a Niche – I think If you are really new to affiliate marketing. The niche you must choose is the one that you are passionate to. If you like PC and you are very knowledgeable about PC then I urge you to choose this niche. But If you just want to choose the niche that is profitable, Internet Marketing and MLM or Network Marketing are the ones who are very popular. The idea of affiliate marketing is to promote other peoples products and make a commission.
2. Choose a Product- I advise you to choose intangible products (specially If you are just getting started) it might be e-books, wso’s, audio and video courses, marketing systems. I assume that you already pick your ideal niche. The next thing that you must do is to search for the perfect product that has a market potential in your niche. If your chosen niche is related to e-books and course you can search Clickbank’s Marketplace http://www.clickbank.com/marketplace.htm
You can find enormous products there that can be the potential porduct that you can promote.
3. Promote the products- This is the last part and most crucial part in your affiliate marketing career. Come to think of it. You have the right niche and good product to promote but doesn’t have the skills to promote it. Do you think you will earn alot of money? Probably NO!
So the last the most important thing that you must study is how to promote your chosen products. There are many ways of promoting affiliate products. The most common and some say effective are Article Marketing, Web 2.0, Blogging, PPC, PPV, CPA, Search Engine Marketing, Email Marketing, Joint Ventures (JV), Social Media and many more.
The important part here is that you now have some sort of blueprint on how to start in affiliate marketing.
