Website Traffic is one of the Popular topic among Internet Marketer, Affiliate Marketer, Online Network Marketer, Home Based Business Owner. This group of people actually searching, inventing, developing ways to get traffic. The reason why traffic is very important to this group of people its because Traffic means money. If you have a website but don’t have a traffic in a daily basis then you are in trouble or doesn’t make any good amount of money. This article is just a simple summary of ways to generate traffic for your site.
There are many ways out there that can bring traffic to your website, it can be FREE or PAID. But I will just list here the most effective ways of Generating Free Traffic.

Twitter is a very powerful tool that you can use to generate massive amount of traffic to your site. Twitter has a feature called TWEET. So lets say that you have a 1000 followers/friends & you create a tweet that says like this “Hi guys I have an important piece of Information that you might like visit here: (your URL)” after you create a tweet, it automatically shows in the homepage of your 1000 followers/friends. Let’s say that your 1000 followers are curious about you & want to know more about your site and click your (URL). PRESTO! You just create a 1000 website traffic at once just by using TWITTER.
Second is Facebook – Also a social media also but is more interactive than twitter. Facebook can be a good source of traffic because almost of its members are hungry for content. Make sure that your post & updates are content-enrich not a pitch. It has a built in feature that is similar to twitter. It’s called “WALL” you can put anything on your wall like you tube videos, website, pictures or just update. All of your friends will automatically see what ever you post on your wall.
Third is Forums – An interactive website where as users discuss & share their ideas or question. This one tactic is powerful if you know how to use it properly. Forums a have a built in features called signature file, you can put anything on it, whether your website link or your blog or your affiliate banner. When you post a new thread, all of the members inside the forum well see it & your signature file. Make sure to post relevant & content enrich posts. Because If they like it then they will certainly click your link & presto!
4th is YouTube – Probably one of the most effective ways of generating free traffic to your site. First create a good channel. You can always use your name for personal branding. Create a video with a good content that answers your clients or prospects problem then at the end of the video post the (URL) of your site. Presto! Instant Traffic.
5th is Digg - One of the most popular social media sites on the net. This site is best for blogs, you first add some friends to digg, then create some article or video that is informative, depends on the niche. The rule of thumb here is to distribute your post, If diggers like it. They will digg it and of course they will visit your blog or site. Instant traffic!
